The calendar says that spring has sprung but I'm going to say that we have no evidence of this! I need warm, sunny days!

Spring is upon us! Hopefully, the temperatures will start to prove that! I can't wait!
Go away Stella. Nobody wants to see you!! Don't you even realize that Spring in New England is a week away? I think it would be best if you turn around and head out to sea because classrooms are really hot and humid at the end of June!!
Interim reports should be posted by the morning. The clock is ticking quickly and we will soon be in the last quarter of the year. Reflect on your interim report and think of ways to improve upon your grade.
Students spent time in the lab looking for indicators of a chemical reaction. Great results were obtained. Now it is time to analyze our data and complete a CER. We just have a few activities left and we will then be done with our chemistry unit and will begin our life science unit. I spend a great deal of time asking students to turn in missing assignments. Students need to make it a priority to turn in assignments on time. Some of you already do so and that is awesome! Have a good rest of the week and please NO MORE SNOW!! Mrs. M :) Extra Credit is due by 3/13: Go to animaldiversity.org/ and pick an organism of your choice( type an organism's name into the search menu). Complete the following: name of organism, scientific name of organism, habitat, range, lifespan, some of their interesting behaviors, what do they eat and who preys on them? |
