As you know we go through a whole lot of glue sticks for our interactive science notebooks. I can't even count how many we have gone through. The last of the glue sticks has been ordered and we are already going through them. Sooooooo with 35 days left I am begging for glue sticks! I am willing to give some extra credit for glue sticks and will award you 1 bonus point for each glue stick donated. I will give you up to 20 points but you can feel free to donate more than 20. Thank you in advance! Thank you to the students and families who have already donated. I certainly appreciate it.
Grade 7 students have finished addressing the physical science standards and will now address the life science standards. We will start with a webquest on how to properly use the microscope as a scientific tool. This knowledge will then be used in the lab to properly view various objects under the microscope. Students will even get an opportunity to view live specimens under the microscope. Grade 6 students will continue with Newton's Third Law of Motion. We will complete another activity and then do a station rotation to master this important law. Next, it is force and motion. With only 34 days left it is important to use your class time wisely, be productive and stay on top of your assignments. One of the biggest reasons students are unsuccessful is because they fail to submit assignments. Don't let that happen to you! Make it a great week!
